They have restaurants. Cafes, sitting rooms, arts and crafts, movie theater, pool table, even happy hour! The staff are all so friendly and helpful it is mind blowing to me considering I've worked over 20 years in Healthcare and been to many facilities etc and Amaran Senior Living is by far the most incredible I've been to. The residents are happy to share how much they enjoy each other as neighbors. Because she has also always loved babies and children, the interactions with the Montessori school next door are ideal for my mother. It's a very nice multi-generational approach to assisted living. The food is also a highlight. My family enjoy eating there with Grandma because it's as good as many restaurants. Overall, we can't recommend Amaran Senior Living highly enough!

The Montessori approach and the interaction with the children from next door offer opportunities for the residents to experience multi-generational interactions, mental and social stimulation, and things to do. The movie room, Sunset terrace, beautiful dining room, and library are my mother's favorite places. She loves her apartment and enjoys spending time reading or doing a puzzle when she is ready for alone time. I toured a handful of communities in the area and Amaran is hands down the best there is! My mom is coming around to the idea that she now lives in a luxury apartment, not a "home"! I have peace of mind knowing mom and dad are right where they need to be. Thank you Peter for your continuing assistance to make sure my parents are comfortable and welcome in their new community. Edit to my very favorable review. PLEASE think twice about this place. So much staff turnover. Care has gone down the drain. Mom has a rash on her right shin that needs a steroidal cream. She also has cellulitis on hir right calf. Steroidal cream should not be used for more than 14 days or there is a risk of skin breakdown. They are putting the steroidal cream ON THE WRONG PLACE! Her rash is still there because it isn't being treated and the cellulitis is worsening because they are treating it wrong!!! Nurse "has to look into it". And beside this, mom went 2 weeks with no shower. WTF? Incompetent. Executive director is unapproachable. New nurse is Incompetent. Moving my parents ASAP.

Her apartment was beautiful, the food excellent, and the activities abundant! Now Mom is in Amaran Memory Care, and we feel confident that she is receiving the best possible care available.  The staff is wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable about what mom needs.  There are many activities at Amaran Mom can participate in.   You can participate in as much or as little as you want to.  Mom tells us she loves the Amaran staff and is happy there.  Everyone is so nice.
